Bandai's Cooking Toy Line-up

Bandai announced their gyoza maker last week, and today at the Tokyo Toy Show we had the pleasure of not only seeing the gyoza maker in the flesh and taste gyoza made with it, but Bandai's nori maki maker, sandwich maker, and somen river.

We were pretty impressed by the overall result, and the gyoza maker really makes good looking gyoza… Now you’d better know how to cook them, and they really look like the real thing!

Only available in Japan, the gyoza maker can be ordered online here.

I always saw those toy cooking machines in Japan and dreamed of owning one - especially the sushi maker! Maki is so hard to roll. I'd imagine the gyoza would be a big help. Or would that just be admitting defeat before I even learned the technique? Maybe I should just がんばれ like a big girl.
