As for Beer... You Like It Blue, Green, or Red?

Abashiri-Beer, based in Hokkaido, is well-known among Japanese beer connaisseurs and have pretty famous local beer factory… They were kind enough to send us some pictures of their latest creation, Green Beer, brewed with Spirulina (chlorella & blue-green agae), Red Beer, brewed with the Hamanasu flower, and the elegant, I kind a like the color, Blue Beer brewed with Spirulina as well but blue.

I don't drink alcohol (Yep, and I don't even smoke…) but the blue beer looks so refreshing!

I also don't drink alcohol. But I can tell you that this is not a beer. Maybe coming from Bavaria makes me picky, but beers should only have three ingredients and never can be green,b lue pink or anyhing other then yellow/brown.

Send Kei to Roppongi on Saturday. Maybe give him 5 or 6 red beers before.

So ignore that they call these things beer and try them on their own terms. Maybe they are interesting "beer influenced" drinks. I would, if I had the chance.
