Toshiba Gigashot A100F : World's smallest "Full HD" camcorder, the New Toshiba Gigashot A100F.

Ok, we have to admit we are EVERYTHING but Toshiba Fan boys, are their product lame? Well yes, look at the HD-DVD, but no seriously the press Staff is everything except useful here in Japan in order to put it simply they love so much press people that will be hard for us to love their product.

Anyway here you are their latest little wonder, an horribly designed compact HD Camera, the A100F which brings a shock mounted 1.8" HDD of 100GB, as well as an 2Mpix 1/3-inch CMOS Sensor, which will record video for you in 1920x1080 (Mpeg-4 AVC/H.264).

It is also important to note that Toshiba will propose a A40F version with a 40GB HDD as well as a 720p series with the K80H (80GB) and K40H (40GB)… well nice but I would rather purchase a SD3 from Panasonic or a Xacti HD1000 or the Up-coming HD700 (official press release on this one… soon !).
And to the Question why will I buy a Panasonic or a Sanyo product? Well simply because their products are really good and that their PR Staff are SO cool…
