Sotec : Sotec Puts Some Penryn in its Computers!

The 45nm Intel Processor, "Penryn," is slowly but surely finding a new home in more computers everyday. This time it's Sotec's turn, and they present their new notebook and desktop!

Let me start with the Sotec WH5515P which tops the WH range. It features a 15.4 inche monitor rocking a 1280x800 resolution, DVD super-multi-drive, Vista Home, 120GB HDD, Intel Core 2 Duo T8100 (2.10GHz) processor... Add to this 4 USB 2.0 ports, ExpressCard/54, IEEE 802.11a/b/g wireless LAN, Ethernet, mini D-Sub15 pin...and you get a nice notebook. Unfortunately the battery will only last 1.5 hours.



Last but not least or...not really but whatever...is the slim desktop computer by the very same Sotec guys: the STATION BJ9715PC/22WD!

Specifications include:

- 22 inch LCD,
- 500GB HDD,
- Windows Vista Home Premium, and Office Personal 2007 with PowerPoint 2007,
- GeForce 7100 with built-in video function,
- DVD super-multi-drive,
- Core 2 Duo E4500(2.20GHz),
- 2GB RAM (max 4).

The price for this desktop PC is set at 174.800 yen (1100€).
