We just received an URGENT fax for an unscheduled press conference being held at 7pm tonight in Japan . Both Sharp AND Sony will announce their intent to create a joint venture for large sized LCD panels and modules.

The overall idea here is to combine Sharp's amazing LCD technology with Sony’s promotion and sales expertise.

Umm... I saw this story on a train advertisement about 5 days ago... It was a magazine ad for Wedge. Funny that they couldn't send an English fax sooner, huh?
