Sony Officially Apologizes for the PS3 Vulnerability and Network Hack

It appears there were a few worms on some PS3s… Today Sony officially apologized for some weaknesses found on their PSN system… Apparently hackers discovered a way of accessing some PSN accounts, changed their passwords, and used their credit… Fortunately hackers can't access credit card information or use Visa cards... A patch closing this exploit should be released soon.

Just in case make sure you can access your PSN account and no one changed your password.

They should apologize. That is a serious issue where sensitive information was lost and more could have been lost.
