MWg and Zinc II : Mobius Day 1 Part Two : MWg and Zinc II

MWg is a new Singapore based company created by ex O2 management people. It aims to mainly attack the Asian market, but also has its eyes on the rest of the world. Not only will they release some new devices, but also bring back some great client services and devices closer to what customers would dream of buying. This may sound like a sales speech, but the MWg team we met yesterday was truly motivated and honest... Well, the future will tells us.

The very first device we had the pleasure of playing with was their Zinc II, well built with great material which feels good under your fingers. I especially liked the keyboard touch with haptic feedback. The Zinc II is a Windows Mobile 6.1 device, with a 500MHz CPU, 256MB of flash ROM, and 64MB of RAM. The only drawback is the 2.8 QVGA screen, I would love to get a VGA one instead.
