Marantz introduced a new CD player (CD5003), amplifiers (PM5003 / PM7003 / P8003) and AM/FM tuner (ST6003).

They should be available at the end of this month.

It features a 3 or 5 Mpix CMOS sensor, LCD screen, 16MB of memory, MicroSD card slot (up to 2GB), a USB port, takes 2560x1920 resolution images, and records VGA resolution video at 25fps.

Timely Japan released a new HDMI1.3 hub, the DIBO-HDMI301, available at the beginning of September.

It allows up to 3 HDMI sources to be plugged to your LCD screen and is compatible with 1080p resolution. It also comes with a remote control to select your source.

It measures 80×50×17mm and will cost around 30€.

At the end of August Kenwood will release a new mini audio system, the SZ-3MD, with an expected price of 219€.

Fairly basic. It plays CDs, MDs, and cassettes, and features a digital audio link function, an output power of 20Wx2 with 40mm tweeters, and 100mm subwoofer. A special cable is provided for DAP plug-in.

On September 10th Sharp will release two new AQUOS LCD TVs, the LC-20E5 and LC-16E5.

Both come with an LCD panel with 1366x768 resolution, a contrast ratio of 1,200:1, a brightness of 450cd/m², a viewing angle of 176°, and BS110℃S digital TV tuner.

Marshal released a new external 2.5" SATA HDD, the MAL-0325S/SA. It features a USB 2.0 port, measures 82x134x22 mm, weighs 172g, and is available in 160GB/250GB/320GB versions.
