A typical marketing bullshit, try to take away the adjectives from the text, and see it for yourself.
Monitor makers usually boosts the white to the point where it burns your eyes out, so they can achieve a high contrast ratio. I've seen it at 3000:1 and at 10000:1
I don't think it will be different in this case, but before making judgment, I'd really like to see some specific information on the brightness of the white and black pixel

And how about viewing angles?
I suppose it's the usual crappy 160/160 TN-panel?

of course, it will be crappy, this is aimed at the low-budget segment.
I have a Samsung 215tw, which had three times the price of a TN+film monitor, but worth it. (and it is not even SIPS display, just Samsung's own S-PVA...)

I compared this monitor to other in the store today and this one had more detail in the highlights than the Samsung next to it which was supposed to be the better of the monitors. It really did look fantastic. The viewing angle is not as good as the Samsung, but while sitting in front of it as I will be doing it looks great. So far I am very happy with it. If my opinion changes, I will post my comments.
